Who we are

SovraRAG (“we”) operates the website sovrarag.ch and the SovraRAG document-intelligence platform. Contact for all privacy matters: sales@sovrarag.ch. Processing is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP/nDSG) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

This website

This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics, fonts or CDNs. Our web server processes technical connection data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) in short-lived logs for security and operations. If you contact us by email or via the contact form (which opens your own email client), we process the data you send us solely to respond.

The platform

  • Account data. Organisation name, user names and login credentials (passwords stored hashed), processed to operate your workspace.
  • Customer documents. Documents you upload are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a data key unique to your organisation before storage. We cannot read their content. They are processed exclusively to provide retrieval and answer generation to your authorised users.
  • Usage and audit logs. Queries, answers and administrative actions are logged per tenant to provide the audit functionality our customers require; retention is configurable by the customer.

Where data is processed

All processing — AI inference, embeddings, vector storage, document archive, backups — takes place in datacenters located in Switzerland, operated by Swiss providers. We do not transfer customer document content abroad, and no US-incorporated service is part of the data path.

Retention and deletion

Customer documents are retained until you delete them or your contract ends; deletion cascades to chunks, vector entries and knowledge-graph entries. Backups expire on a rolling schedule of up to one year. Platform logs follow the tenant's configured retention.

Your rights

Under the nFADP you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing. Write to sales@sovrarag.ch; we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
